If you watch the news on TV you see an economy in recession, the threat posed by Iran and North Korea, and a country straying from its foundational roots with a broken moral compass. Seeing all that, and only that, it would be easy to ask "Where is God in all this?" I have wondered this myself at times over the last few years.  However, I have had an opportunity over the past few weeks that has shown me that God is exactly where He has always been, on His throne and very much in charge.

I have been working on a project for AIM, where I have been doing phone interviews with former World Racers to find ways that AIM can better assist them on their return from the race. Unlike the picture you get from TV about our country, our young people, and our future, The World Racers gave me  a renewed sense of hope. God is raising up a new generation of believers that is more focused, more in tune to the voice of God, and more willing to step out in real faith than ever before. I just wish that everyone in this country could have the chance that I had to hear their hearts and be encouraged by the future that they will make as real warriors for the Kingdom. 120 new Racers arrive this month to start their journey and take their place alongside the 200 or so warriors already in the battle.  Look out world!
